Connector and Conduit Guidance
The compact Micro HDMI section is approximately 6mm wide and 2.3mm thick. The supplied installation guide recommends approximately 16mm or larger straight conduit and approximately 20mm or larger conduit where bends are present. Actual clearance depends on pipe bends, joints, pulling tools and connector protection, so measure the complete route before ordering.
Directional Installation
This is a one-way active optical HDMI cable. Connect the end marked Source to the signal output device and the end marked Display to the TV, monitor or projector. The cable will not transmit a signal when installed in reverse.

Source devices: desktop computers, laptops, game consoles, Blu-ray players, set-top boxes, cameras and AV receivers with a compatible HDMI output.
Display devices: HDMI televisions, monitors, projectors and compatible AV equipment.

Before Permanent Installation
- Fully assemble and test the Source-to-Display connection before pulling the cable through conduit.
- Protect the compact connector during pulling and never pull directly on the contacts.
- Avoid sharp bends, crushing, twisting, splicing and excessive pulling force.
- Disconnect equipment power before removing or reconnecting detachable sections.
