This adapter works only in the following direction:
DisplayPort source → HDMI display
Connect the DisplayPort male plug to a desktop, graphics card, laptop or docking station. Connect an HDMI cable from the adapter’s HDMI female port to a monitor, TV or projector.
It does not support HDMI source → DisplayPort display.
