Expand one full-size DisplayPort connection into three DisplayPort display outputs with the MOSHOU DisplayPort 1.4 MST Hub. It is designed for multi-monitor workstations, gaming setups, presentations and control rooms that need mirror or extended-desktop layouts from a compatible DP source.

Key features

  • One DisplayPort source input and three DisplayPort display outputs
  • DisplayPort 1.4 MST multi-stream display support
  • Supports up to 8K 60Hz or 4K 144Hz when the complete source-to-display chain and available bandwidth support the selected mode
  • Mirror or extended desktop operation on compatible systems
  • Independent output status indicators and power indicator
  • DC 5V auxiliary power input for stable multi-display operation
  • Compact aluminum-alloy enclosure

Connection direction

DisplayPort source → three DisplayPort displays. The signal direction is fixed. This product cannot combine three sources into one display and cannot accept HDMI or USB-C video input.

Multi-display and bandwidth notes

All three outputs share the bandwidth provided by the source DisplayPort connection. The highest advertised resolutions normally apply when fewer displays are active. When two or three displays are connected, available resolution and refresh rate depend on the graphics card, DisplayPort version, DSC/MST support, monitor capabilities, cables and operating-system settings.

  • Windows systems with compatible DisplayPort MST support can configure mirror or extended desktops.
  • The number of displays supported by a Mac depends on the exact Mac model, ports and Apple display-support limits. Do not assume an MST hub increases the maximum number of external displays supported by the computer.

How to connect

  1. Connect the computer or graphics card DisplayPort output to the port marked Input.
  2. Connect one to three DisplayPort cables from Output 1, Output 2 and Output 3 to the displays.
  3. Connect suitable 5V power to the DC 5V port.
  4. Open the operating system's display settings to select mirror or extended mode and configure resolution and refresh rate.

Before buying

  • Confirm that the source DisplayPort supports MST and the required number of displays.
  • This is a multi-display splitter, not a multi-input switch.
  • It does not convert DisplayPort to HDMI, USB-C, DVI or VGA.
  • High-resolution and high-refresh-rate modes require compatible DisplayPort cables and hardware throughout the connection.
  • Cables and power accessories should only be considered included when explicitly listed in the package contents.

FAQ

Can all three displays work at the same time?
Yes, when the source GPU and DisplayPort connection support MST and have enough bandwidth for the selected modes.

Can every monitor run at 8K 60Hz simultaneously?
No such guarantee should be assumed. The three outputs share the source link bandwidth.

Does it switch between three computers?
No. It takes one DisplayPort source and distributes it to up to three DisplayPort displays.

Why does a display not appear?
Check MST support, connect the 5V power input, verify the DP cables and reduce resolution or refresh rate if the shared bandwidth is exceeded.
